Well, my package from my birthday shoould be here today. Its from ChiefAircraft and will include a DX7, Jersey 2.5gal handcrank, and a Hitec 5625MG digital throttle servo. Im not sure if Ill keep my DX7, or get a 9303 with an xtremelink. Thanks!!

MAN... nice Birthday present! When I was your age I got a bag of 6 tube socks, but was told only 2 were for my Birthday, and the oither 4 were for Christmas the following year. Happy Birthday.

thanks sleepy my bday is actually on december 30th. hey just got my package everything is here, except they didnt include the allen wrench like it says in manual fo stick tensioning, i might just send it back and get a 9303, this feels so bulky. ill probably go the xtremelink route. Thanks!!

i hate binding this this radio as well, but it does have the modelmatch function. i am weighing out the good and bad of the radio.

the 9303 feels very very similar to the DX7. And as far as extreme link goes i havent heard anything more about it since it came out, i know they have heard test reports but i dont know how it compare to the DX7 for reliability. the allen wrench should be in the bag with the servos screws and stuff.

i got the ones without servos so im no luck, oh well i have plenty of other allen wrenches. i also figured out how to bind it. didnt need the special switch, just plug battery in to a servo channel, then bind plug into battery channel. still the xtreme link would give me more channels, but no "modelmatch".

Well, tomorrow im sending the DX7 back to Chief, decided to wait till at least the Toledo show to make any big radio purchases.
