Looks great, the kid wants you to take him up, but I'm not even sure if he's big enough to be a scale pilot!

That is without a doubt the best that airplane has ever looked. I'm glad it's still around, it was a real PITA fixing the spar on that thing. Enjoy it, looks great.

The spar is 1/4" balsa with the grain running horizontal. What had happened is the spar started to split around the wing socket. I cut some access holes in the root, repaired the spar and then glassed the spar/socket front and back with 1" overlap on the top and bottom skin. It's bulletproof now. I always liked this airplane, it's nice to see that someone took the time to do it up right. When origially built there was a team of 4 of us that goin it flying in about a week.

Zak said that is what the insane 6 ment. So Im putting it on. People would see it when it was white and say I ve seen that plane before And I would tell the that it was Zaks and they seen it on 3dbatix.com. Those vidio's are stil on there. Zak has been good to me and I consider him a freind. Hes a good flyer. I tell him to quite building new planes before big contest's. You helped on the Votec, it look's great. Coulnt believe how light your tailwheel was need a set of maine' like that.s

I suppose that if you add in Zak and his dad Mike that would total 6 people all together. We have a great group of guys here in norcal and it is not unusual for a few guys to come together like this when one is in need. Both of us have been offered turn key airplanes when we found ourselves without. Zak has got to be one of the most under rated pilots in IMAC. He is not as well known as he should be but can hold his own with the best. I still a little angry that I have to compete against him next season. Glad you like the tailwheel.
