| A fifth of Peter. ![]() | For some reason, it takes different inputs to make different planes do it. Here's how a couple of my past planes would do it: QQ 85" Yak - Vertical upline, throttle to idle, and right rudder, when it gets just about halfway over, full left rudder, full down, and it just locks in. You've got to play with the throttle a bit to find the sweet spot. WM 90 size Extra - 45 deg knife edge upline, half throttle outside snap with left rudder, midway through go full throttle and reverse the rudder, hold everything else. It'll tumble violently (actually it does a lomcevak, and if you neutralize the controls it'll fly out of the lomcevak), and if you hold the controls it'll fall into a knife edge spin. Most of the other planes I've had will do it using one of those 2 entries. The second one seems to work on more planes than the first and is VERY violent looking. Doing that with a Cap is great, it becomes a blur and really winds up. Make sure your plane is strong before doing it either way (especially the second), and everything is tied down tight, this is the kind of thing that will throw your batteries around and break stuff.

| Bad-ass Super Contributer! ![]() | Eury is right on, but I usually do it a bit differently/more gently...fly to a near stall in level flight, tap right rudder and a touch of right aileron for an instant, then full down, full left rudder, i use about 1/4 throttle, and some left ailron (how much depends on the plane). this way is wuite smooth, but eurys way is just as good, sounds like it could be easier. ![]()

| A fifth of Peter. ![]() | One thing I forgot to mention in my description above is that the throttle setting is different for different planes. You have to play with it a bit to find the sweet spot, generally once it's established, about 1/4 throttle or so will keep it going. Give yourself a bit of room to pull out, it's not as quick as a normal spin to get flying again.

| A fifth of Peter. ![]() | I haven't heard of any first hand accounts of structural failures, but when I was trying to learn them I watched a video from Flying Cirkus about them, and the guy on the video said that he had broken a plane doing it. Dunno how reliable it is, but they are certainly a violent looking maneuver (even more so if you enter it from a Lomcevak, it looks like it's going to tear the plane in half).

| Mother Huckin' Pro Bro ![]() | I do mine a bit differently again. Full throttle upline, cut the power. just as the plane stalls hit full throttle, full down, full left rudder and full left aileron. Usually I have to centre the aileron or rudder, not totally but relax some of it as the plane winds up. I think every plane is a little different, but I've always manage well with the inputs above. As an aside, my Bad Boy V2 does a gnarly negative I spose, KE Spin. So INstead of down elevator it is up, and boy does it wind up ![]()

| Bad-ass Super Contributer! ![]() | oh yes you can break a soft plane easily - it's all about the gg's - i think a blender is bad too and a wall - have seen many a bird go poof!!!

| Super Contributer ![]() | Martin, as you are one of us , are you flying the Electric Extra ?If so, the extra will KE spin simply by putting both sticks in the top right hand corner, i start from stalled, push forward and GO ! Got a short vid uploading as we speak!, Extra does it beautifully !
