Default Sullivan skywriter--> NEED HELP

Got a Skywriter on a 33% plane with a Kroma 100. Pumps fine on the ground with the engine off. But it will not do anything with the engine running. Below are the things I have done.

1. Check Plumbing-- ok
2. Replace switch-- nothing
3. Replace battery--still nothing
4. Replace pump-- still nothing
5. change channel on rx ---#$%&& smoke still wont work

Anyone had a problem like this before? PLEASE HELP!!!

do you have a check valve between the pump and your mufflers,if not maybe the muffler pressure is pushing your oil back to the smoke tank and the pump is looseing prime.just a thought

9.6v 900MAh nicd battery. Took the deck off, and plugged a new battery into it today. Took the pump off and held it in my hand, with the engine running, still doesn't work. Engine off.. it works. Check valve is between the muffler and pump.

Maybe a loose connection in the pump? Mine had a bad solder joint and wasn't making contact. Try opening it up and see whats going on in it.

Yep had the same prob till i replaced my check valve. The pump was unable to prime due to the muffler pressure bleeding in to the system.

Yep, yep, and yep. Even took the line off and ran it into the jug. Would pump fine with engine off. Engine running, and nothing. I'm ready to pull may hair out on this one. I'm thinking of putting another RX in (micro 6ch) and battery. Separate the whole system. HMMM can the skywriter work on a 6 volt system (off the rx)?

Is your pump on a mix to your throttle?

It was, but in attempt to make it work, I put it on a toggle switch. Same result.
