| Bad-ass Super Contributer! ![]() | Like Bunky said, personal choice. On my 9C I use switch G, it's the 3 position switch on the top right. I have 3 flight conditions programed in; one for precision, the middle for general flying, and the 3rd for max throws. |

| Gettin' Lower! ![]() | I didn't even know I can set it up for 3 different flight characteristics. I thought only 2. Thanks If the switch is up what is the flight condition When the switch is in the middle ? When the switch is in the down location ? |

| Doe-Duh-Doe Boy Fresh! ![]() | if you wantall rates on one switch, probably go with the C switch its on the right, its a long switch so its easy to find without looking, and it has tripple rates which are great

| NCFR Rocks (even from here!) ![]() | I use "G" and put a piece of fuel tubing on it..... pushed forward (towards the back of the TX) is low rates.... center is low on ele and ail and a slightly higher for rudder... for hammerheads and pulled to the front is 3 d rates..... I'm going to modify it a bit, but thats what I do for now

Thanks so much for explaining it so clear. I never understood up or down on the switches. I will play with the transmitter and get it setup this way. I am waiting for the new quique 86 inch yak to come in and that will be my first gasser. I already have my DA50 and have to buy my hitec 5955's next. I have been flying for 3 seasons now and their is still so much to learn. Thank to everyone that replied. | ||||||||||||||||||

wow ive never seen it set up like that ive always gone low toward me snap roll setting in the middle and full 3D at the top cuz it makes more sense bottom=low top=high but i guess if u prefer it that way

| Bad-ass Super Contributer! ![]() | I personally like having each surface on a different switch. When flying IMAC, I find I can never have the right configuration with just one switch. Sometimes I like a high rate ail and low rate everything else while doing a vertical up-line snap. I like low rate ail and low everything else for vertical down-line snaps. I like high rate rudder only on hammers. Having everything on one switch does not give me the custom feeling I like for each figure. Garrett |

I feel that even when setting up the plane, using a switch for each control function gives me 3 settings on each function to help finding the right mix of throws to find what I want out of different way of flying. Then, I guess, you can take what you like best from the different settings and program those setting onto one switch position.

| Gettin' Lower! ![]() | I also use the triple switch on my 9c. Its not really flight modes as I understand them on higher end radios but kind of half way there. I put in two different models for the same plane. One model is set up for imac throws low, snaps middle, and what I want for takeoff and landings in the high position. The other model is take off and landings low, which is also good for everyday flying although just a smidge fast for imac in my opinion. The middle rate is what I like for rolling harriers, and the third is all out 3d. |
