Default Canneries (bird)

Once upon a time I was driving a dilapidated old beater along a country road. I observed a semi-truck quite a ways ahead of me that had pulled off of the road. The truck driver got out of the truck and was beating on the side of the truck with a shovel. He then got back in the truck and pulled out in front of me and raced off down the road. A mile or two later on down the road I came upone the same truck which again was pulled off the road and the driver was again beating on the side of the truck with a shovel. He then got back in the truck and pulled out in the front of me and raced off down the road. A mile or two later I came up on the truck and as the driver was just getting out of the truck I pulled in behind him and ran up to the driver just as he started to pound on the side of the truck with the shovel. I asked him, "What are you doing?", and he said, "I have a truck with a 50000 # gross weight load limit and I have 100000 # of canneries in it. I have to keep half of them flying all the time.

Will this work?

I believe it depends. If the canneries were in a large cage that was "open to the elements" then it would if he drove slow enough that the birds could keep up with the vehicle. However, he apparantly drove fast and the person that was cut off didn't mention seeing the birds and he had to ask the man what he was doing so one could assume the birds were contained in a closed space. If this were the case then, for every action there is an opposite and equal reaction, it would not work.

100# table, sitting on scale,
10# helicopter sitting on table..
Scale reads 110#, correct..
Heli lifts off and is hovering over table..
What does scale now read..?
Will read 110# ..
Just because the heli is not physically
on the table, the 'cushion of air',, is,,
on the table...

Now,, if ya fill those damn canneries
up with helium, and the truck driver
takes a dump.. THEN,, he might be
within the load limit....

They must be African canaries.

Oh and don't forget to factor in the Quantum mechanics of exactly what point in time the canaries beat their wings and when the truck is actually there......
