| Flyin' Around ![]() | Should I trust DS 821 servos to power aileron and elevator in my Showtime 90, I am using a 6V Batt. they say 88oz torque with that. Also I bought some JR 4-40 Aluminum servo arms and they are very tight to squeeze on, is that normal, DS 821 are made by JR so i figured it would be a good match. I just hate forcing them on. Any ideas!!!!!!!! |

| Bad-ass Super Contributer! ![]() | NO! a friend of mine i build a lot arf's for used them in several smaller planes and they are not holding up very well. two in a funtana 100X had the arm splines break off and on a jerry's big boy elevator one couldn't hold and caused flutter. he is pulling all of them out and replacing with better servos. i think he has around 30 of them in planes and is afraid to fly them. randy |

| "Dude You Don't Even Know" ![]() | servo arms that are aftermarket are usually tight to ensure a good fit, and to prevent slipping.

| Super Contributer ![]() | I have 4 1.20 size planes that are fully equipped with the 821's. they have been rock solid, and two of the planes I really rip them around in 3D. I am very pleased with their performance. I also have them in a 13 pound Ultimate, and they really woke that plane up for me. |
