Default Engine Help

I have an 3w 106 and now when I roll invereted the engine gets super rich and almost wants to die it gets better as the flight goes on but still does it.

Airflow related. Are you using the intake trumpet? If you're not, try it. If you are, try without it. Mine used to do it, but after a number of flights it doesn't do it anymore. Never tried taking off the trumpet, but that could do the trick. Try that and let us know! It's a fine engine and you will enjoy it.

Well take it off and try flying it without it. It's not really a necessity.

It is turning 6500 on a mejlik 28/10 is that about right?

That sounds about right, what are your cylinder temps right after landing? The high end affects a lot of the midrange on the tilotsen carb on the 3Ws, so a lot of time when you get a big burble in the middle the high needs to go in a bit as well. Things to try are take the intake off, and run the line off the carb back into the fuse a bit, and tweak on the needles.

Head temps were 230 and 216 that was after hovering and alot of WOT stuff I was running it hard it has full bafling around the heads. Already ran the static port line into the fuse.

Does your motor have painted heads? You might have an air leak at the carb block.

Ok, with those temps you are pretty close on top, most of my painted heads run 240 or so. I would look over your case really well and see if you see any leaks, and around the carb block as well.
