Grand Opening of Triple Creek RC Club

Today we had our official grand opening of our new field in west central Florida.
Triple Creek RC Club in Balm, Florida is a brand new club located just south of Tampa Florida. We are flying off a 8 acre lot of beautiful flat clear land with no obstacles to inhibit your flying experience. We fly off a 350' x 35' asphalt runway with three 50' foot taxi ways. We are striving to be one of the premier flying sites in west central Florida.

We had some very special guests come to our opening and fun-fly.
Initially I invited Tony "WoodisGood" Russo of Dalton Aviation in Clearwater,FL
to come out and help us do a noon-time 3D demo.
Well, Tony stepped it up notch and brought with him a good friend that just happened to be in the neighborhood. Mark "Beavis" Leesburg came out and did some awesome 3D flying to really wow the crowd. What a great pilot and what a great guy.
Thanks Mark for coming out to our field and helping us celebrate our grand opening!!!
Other notables that came out were John "Aerotech" Sharpless, John ("X"Rated") Nelon and Rob Joyner from Aerotech RC Models and Gene Payson from TBM.

A great time was had by all and of course you guys are invited to come out and join us any time!
