Help! New to Giant aircraft, Help with choosing the right plane for my style

Hey guys, i have been on this forum for quite a while, and i must say im more a Heli freak than planes.. but i have always loved 3ding planes been able to do waterfalls, blenders, hovering, knife edge harriering etc.

but the 40 size planes just cant hack it, well not the ones i have been flying.. they had bad tendencies for tip stalling etc..

Im after a Full 3D 50CC Extra or similar - my brother has hooked me up with a guy who can do a cheap deal on the 3d plane "Bling 3D" just wondering if anyone owns one and how does it compare to other "better" brands.

once i get used to tuning the motor of the 50cc im saving up for moving onto a 100cc or greater.

Any info would be appreciated.
Cheers,
matty O'Connell

Aussie and proud of it!

Steve Rojecki, A former TOC pilot, flew an electric version of it and I talked to him about it. From what he said and from what I saw of it flying, it's a pretty neat plane. It's not my style of plane, but it flew real well.

Matty,
I haven't heard anything about the "Bling 3D". But there are a lot of great planes out there being offered in the 50CC class. My favorite is the new Wild Hare 28% extra.

It comes out a tad lighter then the original extra, and the flying characteristics are outstanding!!!!

I have a Great planes patty wagstaff that flys greatwith a bme50. You need to do some mixing though. I also have a Goldberg 77" edge with a da50. This is my favorite by far. It witll pull vertical at 1/4 throttle with a 22x8 lol. My father has there yak with a da50 and that flys great also. that has a 23x10 pt models carbon prop on it.

The Bling, being that it is distributed through horizon, probably is a great quality plane and will most likely do every 3d thing in the book, but like bodywerks said its not every ones style of plane. Aeroworks offer a few really nice 50 cc size planes that you should check out.

I wouldnt be that woried about learing to tune the gas motors, they are allot lower maintenance compared to nitro, so if you have the money now I would just jump up to the 100cc size but that is all up to you.
