| Bad-ass Super Contributer! ![]() | Fresno Radio Modelers use big paddles about 15 inches long made of wood about .4" thick... they go in your back pocket, each channel has a paddle and the idea is that people will put it in their back pocket when they fly, but won't drive off with it (Rather uncomfortable to sit in a car seat with a length of lumber in your pocket). works really well!!! |

| Bad-ass Super Contributer! ![]() | We have 2 frequency boards one similiar to the pic above for everyday use and a contest frequency board. During a large contest you need to have a board that impound voulenteers and pilots can easily see. What we did was take an 8' 2x4 in this we placed 50 evenly placed screws. 10 to 50 was written above the screws. then we got 50 free paint sturring sticks from the local home depot(took 3 trips). we cut these sticks in 1/2. one side was spray painted white and the other red. A binder clip was placed on each one. during a contest when somebody checks out a radio from the impound we clip their AMA card to the paint stick and turn it over so you see the red side. I don't have a pic but I will try and draw a pic.

| Bad-ass Super Contributer! ![]() | I was at the Fresno event and there frequency board was awesome. I will look I took some pics of it it worked and at the end of the day nobody walked away with the pins (40 + guys only eight left on 72hmz) Something you may want to consider is SS. Almost everybody I know is either already on SS or planning on it before the end of the year.. I would recomend keeping it cheap and simple it will be a nice coat rack sooner than latter.. GMONEY The paddles at FResno were not 3" wid they where barely 2 1/2 inches wide and 12" long they fit well in the back pocket. You didnt leave it anywhere. and it made it back to its place all three days..
