Dude, you got an uzi?!?! That thing is the bee's knees bro. I have 2 of 'em and that's pretty much all I've been flying lately. Did you do any mods?

Every time I drive by I never see any airplanes in the air. I only live about 7-10 minutes away. Do you guys usually fly early mornings?

Heya DL, early meaning like 9am. There's always a crew out there. We should setup a time to go out and fly. Brett and I will bring the herd. Remember, you now need a permit to fly there. Bring your AMA to Costa Mesa City Hall and they'll sign you up. It's only $20/year.

Madmax,

Thanks for the heads up, I see the city figured out a way to make some revue. I remember back in the old days when I used to fly gliders & flying wings out there. Back in the 80's a couple of us flew 25 size nitro planes out there when Mile Square Golf Course was having a scale meet all weekend....LOL!

Nah, actually there was one over zealous member that tried to get the club shut down earlier in the year that drove the city counsel to require insurance. Do a search here for "fairview". We should hook it up dude!!

I remember doing that! I had a foam P51 with a OS25 on it that had to be hand launched because it would nose over on take off. I got shot down one day when some dude with sunglasses walked up and turned on his radio. Turns out, because of his sunglasses, he thought I was on brown & white when I was actually on purple & white, same as him (gawd, remember those days?). Good memories dude, thanks.
