Hey guys, I am headed your way to Brisbane in about a week, I will be there for a month or so working on a UAV contract. I was hoping that I would get the chance to hang with some of my fellow Flying Giants members once I get there, I am going to be there for while

Maybe some International Huckin is in order! Beer drinking, and all out fun!
Let me know what you guys think.

As for quiting the job, You crazy man! got to love getting paid to play airplanes...
Hopefully we can get a good group together while I am there, It might just feel like home!!!

You will really enjoy yourself with those crazy Queensland boys, if you find yourself further south in or near Sydney drop me a line, there are a lot of mode2 flyers at my club, if I ask nicely I might be able to borrow a Tx and buddy lead for a day.

Edit.... I didnt see that you are only coming for a month, you probably wont get time to do much sight seeing.

Ill make time! As long as they let me drive under my US drivers licence..... I am looking forward to it. From what I understand I will be all over the SE and South Central part of Australia.
Ill be there for a month the first round, if all goes well it will be a much more permanent basis!

If your going to be doing lots of driving around central Australia dont, whatever you do hit a roo (your car will be wrecked), and remember we drive on the 'right'(re proper) side of the road over here

LOL, That could be fun. More the reason I wonder if they are going to let me drive..... Roo's are big but man you should see what a cow will do to your car

I am really looking forward to this trip. This could be really interesting!

BTW what frequency's are legal over there??

Mick, it's not a matter of mite, it's a matter of WHAT!! I know what's going to happen. Chris will be there for a couple weeks, you guys will take it easy on him and play well. Then just before he's scheduled to leave you'll take him on a full on"walk about bender"! You'll get him all boozed up and next thing you know, there will be 1 Yank flying a $400,000,000 UAV with stealth missile launch and 40 hour fuel range flying advanced at the QUEENSLAND CHALLENGE!!!
