Default Matt Chapman + ERAU

As some of you may already know, our very own Matt Chapman has recently signed a sponsor agreement with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Now all you splatter lovers, don’t get your panties all up in a bunch yet. He has kept the majority of the splatter scheme (for now ) and added some ERAU graphics to it. This is a great opportunity for ERAU as Matt being the great pilot and person he is will bring the university an unsurpassable amount of exposure.

On his way to Lakeland for the Sun-n-Fun Fly in last week, Matt stopped by the school for a close up look at the new paint and to have a talk with students. It was a very casual event with free BBQ and drinks. The plane was just repainted the Friday before and you could literally still smell the clear coat on it.

Matt, the university and Great Planes are in the process now of licensing agreements to produce a small number of limited edition ERAU scheme models for us RC folks. Matt was explaining to me that this would probably be a big hit in the modeling community because the riddle logos will be supplied as a vinyl graphics package with the kit leaving big open spaces on the fuse and wings for your own graphics if you don’t really care for the Embry Riddle logos.

I just want to thank Matt for taking the time out of his busy schedule to come to the school. I assure you that everyone was excited when they heard you were coming and that your plane was going to have our name on it...you've got allot of fans here.

Bobby

As a Daytona Riddle grad myself, I must say I'm honored to see Matt flying for us.

Very Cool!
