I'll be traveling to Chicago this week and will have a little time to kill on Wednesday. Can anyone suggest a good hobby shop to "waste" some time in?

#1 Al's in Elmhurst 630-832-4908 #2 Venture in Wheeling #3 Strictly RC in Chicago #4 Chicagoland Hobby- they were mostly train stuff a few years ago, but the have started to get more rc. Al's probably has the most stuff, and it is a pretty good place. If you can only go to one, that would be my choice. They are about 10 or 15 miles due west of downtown Venture is good also, but with a little less inventory. Strictly RC caters mostly to electrics, but still nice to have around. |
