Folks who are coming to The Nall are probably familiar with their own types of wildlife but are not aware of what they will encounter while camping at Triple Tree. The Aussies have the Dreaded Bun-Yip that can strip a man to the bone in less than 60 seconds, the Kiwi's have the ferocious Wombat to contend with and the South Americans have some of the most deadly snakes in the world. We should mention Terwinger's Slug, the Hoofed Plover and the Basingstoke Nit, but none of these compare to the Carolina Toothed Varmint. The CTV is well known in these parts and has even ventured out to other venues, only to return to it's fertile breeding grounds in the Carolinas. It is also easy to spot because it is loud; VERY loud, and you know when it's coming. Like a torpedo in the water, the CTV is a fast, noisy target that can be easily distracted by bits of meat or the occasional malt beverage flung off into the distance. This thing also stirs up a lot of dust when approaching, giving ample warning of it's arrival and subsequent devourment of all snacks in sight. The CTV is also daft as a brush and can be easily fooled by putting a towel over your own head. It assumes that because you can't see it, it can't see you either and will wander off in search of other prey. Not that it is actually evil, or dangerous, it simply requires a wide berth and a sharp eye to stay out of it's path. Just keep small children away from it's mouth and hide your sandwiches and you will be assured of an enjoyable time at Joe Nall.

Mmmm. Sounds serious Klank, I would suggest all comers to the Nall this year pass by Wallies world and buy a big lock for a cooler, otherwise known as a chilly bin, Esky, or plastic box. Seems like that varmint has a inkling for loose malt beverages, Salami sandwiches and anything thats otherwise referred to as good tucker. If you get seriously rattled by him you could invest in one of the cattle prod thingies or if you have good friends in the force a spare TAZER or two should keep him at bay guys. Kiwi |
