| To those who doubt.....BURN!!! ![]() | 1 Rx, 2 batteries, 2 regulators, 2 switches(for the Rx), 1 battery and regulator for Igntion. I used to run flat 3 pole wire, then I have recently switched over to twisted wires. You will get MANY differing opinions on this matter. An airframe that size I feel does not have the need for a PBX. I feel the above method is the best way around! KISS method!!!! Bunk~

| Comin' through ![]() | I use 2 Fromeco 2400 Li-Ion packs feeding a Power Box Sensor Switch. For the ignition I use a 2500 mAh 4.8V NiMH and remote kill switch. There are some pics of my setup here: Is the 27% Extra 260 ARF a good start into giant scale? |

| NCFR Rocks (even from here!) ![]() | On my similar size Yak, I use 1 2400mAh Relion battery, one Fromeco Badger switch and one regulator into one receiver.. Same thing for the ignition. You could double the battery/switch/regulator if you wanted too

| I'm only 'twee years old ![]() | so i take it that i need a regulator to lower the volts to the servos? yes? better to run on 6 or 4.8???which do you prefer and why? how long before recharge on lipo batterries with a set up like this? and for the engine? lipos too? and another regulator? where do i put the ignition cuttoff and charge jacks(2)???? ah, confusing! ![]() |

| Bad-ass Super Contributer! ![]() | ok, pretty much this is what i have! 1 duralite 2900 Li-ion on the reciever 1 regulator (left side of the fuse, pre cut at the factory) 1 duralite 2200 li-ion on the ignitioin 1 regulator (right side of the fuse, do it yourself) and thats about all you need, with the da that plane is gonna come out heavy, i have a zdz 50 in there and i pretty much only put what i have to, to be able to fly and its still heavy. Trust me, try to go as light as possible. hope that helps, nick

| Bad-ass Super Contributer! ![]() | and yes, you do need the regulator, to lower the voltage to the reciever(servos) and you might need it on the ignitioin, unless your ignition can take the voltage your battery puts out! nick

Verry important when wiring it must be batt--switch--regulator---receiver(or ignition). The switch must be between the battery and regulator regulators draw power even under no load. On your H9 don't get crazy with the length of your servo arms if using stock hardware, it will flutter to its death on its maiden. If you are going to set up 3D throws, get some better pushrods(H9 Titaniun, 4-40 all thread with carbon finer over it etc..)
