where abouts in rhode Island do you live ? Im going to attend boarding school there next year and need to start finding the flying crew around there. My school is just outside of Rhode Island town.

I'm originally from W.Warwick, RI, but have been living down here in sunny Florida for 12 yrs now. I only started flying in 2006 so I didn't even know about RC flying sites when I lived there. Are there many others around that area? I'd be curious to check them out if I ever go back up for a visit.

There are several nice sites in the area. One or two in South County, one in Coventry/W. Greenwich, one in Wrentham, one in Johnston and several in nearby Mass. If you want pavement, we also fly at Woodstock airport in Woodstock, Ct. Plenty to choose from depending upon your interest and location. |

Well about SNAP, I've known him for about 15 years. He's insane! But a great pilot and a great guy who goes out of his way to help others. But, having said that, every time he takes off I cringe as he does inverted snap rolls 10 feet off the ground! He's great to have around however and we wouldn't trade him for anyone else! Don |

Thanks Don for the kind words, now they all know my secret  and my turn to tell yours Don is one of the nicest guys I have known in the Northeast, as his name says (BigD) he is a GIANT with a good heart and is a good friend, Don flies a mix of everything from 40% to small supersonic composite Deltas to electrics, he even flies gliders so he is an all around good pilot and fun to be around. See you this coming weekend Don.
