Default Need servo advis for 86" Extra

Hi!

I'm new to giant 3D planes and are about to equip my 86" Extra.
I intend to fly it with a 45CC gasoline engine.
My question is what kind of Futaba servos will this machine require?
The all up weight is around 7-8kg (15,4-17,6lbs)
Will Futaba 3050 be ok for the ailerons?
Will a pair of Futaba 3152 be ok for elevator?
One Futaba 9350 for rudder???

Many thanks!

/Stefan

I would not fly that plane with those servos. If it has large surfaces like the modern planes I do not think you will have enough authority to move the surfaces or will have blow-back under load. Most recommended servos for a 3d capable plane of that size will be in the 180 oz inch of torque.

I would think something more on the order of the 9152 would be what you are looking for.

I am sure you will get other suggestions.
