Tru-Turn Challenge - Crosby Texas

Guys, I just talked to Allan Smith about motels other than those he listed because those listed were all booked as were most of the hotels along the I-20 corridor. Allan said to look in the Kingwood area near the intersection of highway 59 and FM 1960. Kingwood shows up in Google as Humble.

I was able to find a room at the Hampto Inn. It's on the way coming down from Shreveport which is the way that I am coming. I have a friend from Humble and he said the LA roads are not good (sorry Ryan).

Anyway, who all is going to the contest?

The holiday inn houston east is in Channelview, and should still have rooms. it's still the closest to that side of houston. I booked a room for $65/night. hope this helps. btw, i'll be there Thursday....see you guys then!

There is a Best Western on FM 1960 in the Atascocita area. It's a little closer to the field than the Kingwood area. Not sure what their status is.

Had two smoking rooms left yesterday...Almost forgot..They wanted $109 per night..

We're staying at the Best Western in Atascocita, and I think we got in at 90 a night. I'm mainly staying there to visit some of the guys that are at the pattern contest at Jetero.

I'll be showing up Friday night-dpending what time I get off of work and make the 5.5 hr drive from Del Rio. I won't get a chance to go by the field Friday, so what time do I need o show up on Sat. morning?

We will start registration at 7:30 am and try to get in the air by 9:00 if possible.

there's still rooms at my hotel for 69/night. their number is 281.452.7304. i'll be there in 2 hours . later.
