Really? Mine are about 30% of that here in Southern California. No problemo paying them as it's not cheap out here to keep us flying.

Madmax, that is no joke. But then again we got a nice clubhouse with a hot tub and showers and 3 bedrooms. Just finished the motocross track last month, and will soon start building a pool. The bad part is it's a 2 1/2-3 hour ride, and $25 in tolls one way. Plus gas here is now over $5 a gallon. I remember the good old days back in California, when I was in the military, the club dues were free!!! I can fly closer to the house on one of the military bases here, but the biggest plane is 1.20 size, no room to fly my 35-40% planes.

WOW!I thought I had it bad!

Well I have to say I am VERY fortunate! I have the pleasure of belonging to 4 clubs here in Connecticut.

One is ADULT Membership is $75.00. This is a club membership for an individual who is 21
years of age, or older, at the time of application. This includes the $40.00 regular
membership fee, and a one time $35.00 initiation fee. This membership also includes, at no
additional charge, all of his/her children that are under 21 years of age.

The second is $60.00 for adults plus one time initiation fee of $55.00.

The third is just plain $75.00 with no fee.

The fourth is just plain $55.00 with no fees.

So compared to you guys I got it made!
