Default Where do you fly in Santa Monica?

Hello everybody! I would like to know where to fly in Santa Monica or Long Beach in Ca. Because I will be there with my
wife and children in this May. Just want to see you fly.
Thank you very much.

Hey Eric,

In Los Angeles, there are two major public fields. One is the Sepulveda Basin in Van Nuys, on the North side of LA.

Then there is Whittier Narrows, on the East side of LA. This is between Monterey Park and Rowland Heights. Those two cities are where most of the Chinese restaurants are!

Both fields have a good crowd on weekends and have lots of different planes.
I'll have to say the quality/variety of models is better at the Basin, and they can fly turbines there. Very cool.

Whittier Narrows is not bad either, lots of helis on the weekend and usually several giant scale planes.

I don't know where all the Orange County guys are flying at now that the old field at El Toro Marine Base is closed. Perhaps at Prado Dam or Riverside, both further East.
