Help! CDI Ignition

Hi Guys,

I've been having some problems with my 1/3 scale pitts, I keep having throttle servo failures. The servo is mounted on a bracket just above the engine mounts of my DL-50. The CDI unit is also mounted on the left firewall in close proximity to the servo. Can anyone confirm that the CDI would be causing a current spike in the servo because it's mounted so close?? Any help would be great!!!

Cheers.

no the ignition won't due anything to the servo other than maybe load it up with rf to the reciver.usually a repeated servo problem is a bad mounting job,i mean vibration, heat, water something along those lines

yep, too much vibration for the particular type servo. I was in the habit of using micro or mini servos on throttle for gassers to save that all important .221556 ounce. Also mounted them close for good control, but they always went bad on me.
