Who says a build needs to take more than a night. Only thing was I couldn't figure which end of this plank hooked to the fuse!!!!!!!!! Damn light beer Just kidding guys, those pops were just our props for some laughs. Anyways the build of this Aeroworks 260 was a breeze. Only a few things that were a little Bi#$%ty but they wre easy to sort out. This plane is alot nicer in person. Kind of big too. Maiden should be quick here , we just have to see if we can get the BME 110 fired up. Later , Mark |

OMG!! That was fast! This whole time, I thought that Shaun was just planning on getting this plane, not that he already had it, let alone built it! Gotta love that QB! Mine was 25.5 pounds with all CF and 3 2400 fromecos and stock muffs. Man it flew so light! let us know your all-up...it should be a little lighter than mine since they went to higher quality balsa.

It was pretty cool being able to go over to Mark's place to 'get er done'. ![]() Over the afternoon we managed to: 1. Reshrink the covering 2. Seal the hinge gaps 3. Install landing and tail gear 4. Install aileron, elevator linkages and servos 5. Install rudder pull-pull system 6. Program up the radio 7. Best of all... have a blast and take some funny pics! ![]() Now we just have to install the motor and get her running. Maiden over the next 2 weekends dependant on the weather. I can;t work on it during the week. Shaun

Is that the 35% 260 in your avatar? I really need to know where to run the CG for aggressive 3D (and nice slow landings). The manual says that the CG per instructions is on the forward side. Thanks, Shaun

After I completed my AW 260 the CG came out as per manual. I decided to leave it as it was (and I didn't have anything to move backwards). You'll find that it will land tailwheel first if you keep on adding up elev on your approach. Bring it it nice and low - no bad tendencies. Mine is still unchanged and keep in mind that mine weighs 28 pounds ( matchboxes, smoke, powerbox and std gear). 3W 106 on std muff and it still has unltd vert. on 4500 ft above sealevel. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
