I have a ZDZ super 80 with a Tillitson carb. The carb has an optional nipple for the pulse port. Now I haven't been able to locate any external tap in to the crankcase housing of my engine. Am I to assume the back of my crankcase has a hole that mates up to a port were the two surfaces meet when mounting the carb? Do I block off this "optional" pulse port nipple? PS. the carb is already attached to the motor so I am trying to figure this out without having to remove the carb. No manual with it either. Anyone?????? Thanks, Mark |

It should runoff of the intake port only.... The external should be capped... if I am correct.... I think I am...

I would call Mike Dooley at RC Showcase and talk with him, he is very helpful and knows the engines well and they are the distrubutor for these engines here in the US.

seeing this is the second thread for the same question....leave the brass nipple alone. It doesn't need to be capped or plumped to anything. It will run perfect as is. Neo |
