I have been using zurich glasses for the past few years and really like them when I fly. The pair I have are getting pretty bad and they are needing replacement. What does everyone else use? Anybody have any experience with www.modelglasses.com ? Any thoughts would be apreciated

I use these polarized blu-blockers... They look like the same as on the modelglasses website, but half the price...

When I had LASIK surgery done, I used Oakley Pro-M's, Straight Jackets, Minutes, and Gargoyles. All of which had Polarizied lenses. Now that I have to wear glasses again, I use polarizied clip ons!!!

| For full scale I know you are supposed to have grey shaded, non polarized, polycarbonate yadda yadda........ Because some of the glass instruments can actually already be polarized and you don’t want a shift in the intensity of light when you bank but what is best for model planes? Which colors make an object stand out against a blue sky, or a cloudy sky for that matter? I know yellow works in low light but I don’t know anything about blue, purple, red tinted sunglasses. Which tint is best or is one best? |

i have been using brown tinted saringetti aviators. I beleive they are polarized. I find they make colours contrast more so they are good for orientation and such. Plus they look good:P

I have some of the Rose (for the brightest light) Zurichs, I like them alot but it does destort your view around the edges. I normally use Ray Ban polorized with the Root Beer lense. My new glasses have the green polarized. I like the Root Beer better for flying. |
