I was hoping to find an available thread for this but I guess we'll just have to open a new one!

A big thanks to the XFC staff for putting on such a fine event. I'm very pleased to have been a part of it. I saw the post for the 2008 announcements and hope to find an appropriate spot to enter!

Max/FG.. what can we say but THANKS! You guys are awesome personalities bringing smiles and laughs at these events and it's always a pleasure to see you guys out providing a great service to the hobby!

Thanks to all vendors and donors who contributed and participated. We can't get to these next levels without you pushing everyone up and along!

Hope to see the FG crew out at IRCHA!

Take care - talk soon....

Max and Wizard, you guys are troopers standing out there in the sun alll day so these people on the internet could get a glimpse of what was happenings out at the field. It is always fun hanging out with you guys and look forward to seeing you soon.

Thanks Andy. Good hanging out with you, mom, Heather, and of course, Nappy. And yes, it was hot. I have some cool new tanlines that I'm gonna have to get rid of now.

Andy, standing in the sun was part of the gig. We took our time in he shade and didn't try to cover every minute. There were some things that I wish we would have caught on video or photo, but we couldn't be everywhere.

If it Dan_no wouldn't have been there with his little oasis from the weather, I don't think I could have handled the heat. It was also great to be able to get out of the storm.

The best part of the weekend was being able to hang out with great folks. As I get to more events and spend time with everyone, it makes me realize more and more that we have some of the greatest people in our hobby.

Kudos again to the XFC guys (participants and staff) and the FG guys! What a blast! I'm very proud to have been a part of it. Hope I'm around for it next year to!

Just want to say I got the opportunity to meet Max finally. Great guy, always been a fan of this site (I have a L shirt left with your name on it if you want it)! Also of course, Buddy Hale was there and put on an absolutely beautiful set of routines. Another one of the nicest guys (along with his dad Sylvester) you'd ever want to meet as the Mouth says. I've never seen a 50cc size plane fly like what Nick Maxwell did with his. It was insane and I know the stuff he was doing was incredibly hard with that little thing. He overcame a lot of adversity to get there this year. I want to also mention the entire group that came up from Mexico was filled with great guys, extremely cordial and great pilots.

And of course the newest member of GTO, Zak Johns. Dude we need a picture of you in the shirt!

GTO baby!

Bert,

It was nice meeting you this weekend. I was in running the silent auction with Cheryl in the gazebo. We were the gals that made you autograph the RC Heli magazine with your article in it. By the way, how did your Mom like that??? I hope to see you again next year.

Andrew,

I didn't get the chance to see much flying this weekend, but I caught your last flight on Sunday and it rocked!!!!

As Bert said, thanks to Max and the whole FG crew for comng out to the event! The list of people who made this event possible is far to large to list, and everyone invloved did an excellent job running the show! Everyone who flew throughout the weekend layed it down!! The level of flying keeps getting better and better. The weekend went by way too fast... already looking forward to next year's event.

I have to jump on the band wagon, and also give my thanks to everyone that helped put together such a great contest and event. I have been to many R/C events and competitions over the past few years but this one ran like a machine! Great job.

I had such a good time seeing everyone and meeting so many new friends! Congratulations to all of the competitors, I know how much time and effort goes into preparing for something like this.

To all my heli guys (and Andrew ) see you at IRCHA!
