The eagle has landed, the new 3w 85-CS has arrived in Australia, surprising features is the same carburetter as the 106, and the same sized prop hub.

Looks like it uses the same prop hub that the 120's to the 212B4 use??????? I know my 80xi uses the sme hub as the 100/106's.... Maybe I'm incorrect on the 85CS................ Awesome looking engine!!!!

Ill let you know rusty as a guess about the same power as 100cc twin no pipes, the 106CS will swing a 28x12Mej properly but I dont think the 85CS will. Mendoza is gonna put one in a 2.6 plane with a 28x10 Mej or PT on a canister, no tuned pipe hes gonna try to keep true linear throttle with tillotson carb. Its a very big cannister to get it to breath. Pretty cheap option about $1400 bucks if it works out with only one can and no tunned pipe. 3W say its a big jump in power over the 80 hope there right like they were with the 170 over my 157. Chris Swaine in Canberra's getting one too I think..

The 85CS should turn a 28x10 with EASE!!!!!!!!!!!!! It should rip any prop you put on it............ Would make for some fun on a 80cc airframe!!!!!!!!!!!!

You don't need a sticker on the bonnet, full throttle on big props makes it obvious, but the sticker looks nice..
