I need some advice from the experts. I was in Reno on business, and my rental van was broken into and my digital camera among other things was stolen. I need to replace the camera and have around $350.00 to spend on it. I have not bought a camera in a really long time and don't know what to look for. If anyone has any suggestions, please chime in. What features are important, etc. Thanks |

For a novice, I have really enjoyed my Kodak Easyshare. Easy to use, easy to download pictures from and the picture quality is good. If you read the book, you'll find out you can slow the shutter speed down and take night pictures (I have taken some really cool ones) along with some other cool stuff. Not the top of the line by any means, but for a mid line camera, not bad for the price. I think we gave a little over $200 for ours. We have had it for almost 2 years now and not any problems. We also don't take the best care of it, still holds up.

CANON CANON CANON!!! ANYTHING CANON... You can't go wrong with the little Canon point and shoot digicams. I've used Kodak, Sony, Nikon, Canon, Olympus, Fuji etc.... Hands down, CANON is my favorite, next I'd go with a Nikon. Anything from Nikon or Canon in the 350 dollar range will be great. -Matt |
