St. Louie, Here We Come!

Mark Trent, The EAC and FlyingGiants Crew have been hard at work the past few months preppin' for the first Huckfest of 2007 - and the big weekend is finally here!This one of a kind event series showcases everything The Giants are about - in your face flying, great times & friends! The Huckfest Season kicks off this weekend in St. Louis Mo, and it's one of those events you're not going to want to miss. You've all seen last year's Huckfest video, and we're crankin' this one up about 20 notches! If you're in The STL area, come on down and check it out! For those of you who can't make it, we'll be bringing back all the action to the site as the shenanigans go down. 3D flying, go carts, and a club member who owns a fireworks shop! What else could ya ask for?! Updates to follow!

OK for all you guys visiting St. Louis, here are a few tips.

Natives call it St. Louis, not St. Louie! That went out with the 1904 worlds fair.

Must visit Ted Drewes frozen custard, 2 locations. Go for desert after dinner, it's a St. Louis tradition.

Best fast food is Steak 'n Shake or White Castle. If you go to White Castle leave the windows open afterwards.

The arch is awesome, but going up in it is terrifying. Touring the Anheuser Busch brewery is also great fun.

I grew up there, as you might guess. Nice town.

Tom, I had forgotten that you had ties to STL. Coming up for the Huckfest? According to wunderground its supposed to be in the 80's all weekend with low winds.....(it IS the midwest so I'm sure that it will change)

Funny, when I was out there with Trent last August, we did exactally all of these! Mark has an AB tour setup for us on Thursday, lookin' forward to it!

Yup, that is a pretty good list... I love the fries from Steak n Shake!

Personally, I've lived there twice in my life.... First time around (as a kid) I lived in Chesterfield. Then after I got married, my wife and I lived in Belleville, IL (just across the river). At one time, I ran the Far Oaks Golf Club in Caseyville/Collinsville- Any of you locals ever played it?

Time to start packing gear, planes are all charged... Saint Louis here we come!
