Default Making an engine go boom

Ok Need some ideas. We have this gas weed eater engine at work that we're trying to destroy. We have it running on o2 and a mixture of other stuff and want to make it self destruct but so far it won't. Anyone have any ideas on what we can try.

Tried that already. It really screams, whatever we're doing it likes it cuz it's running better than new.

Nitrous Oxide will sort it out for you but be sure your standing well back.

Are you still driving it as a weed whacker or just running the engine bare.

We have just the engine bolted to a table. I'll see if we can dig some of that stuff up and give it a shot.

Mythbusters had a great episode when they were trying a bunch of old designs for internal combustion engines that could run on gunpowder.

Long story short, none of them worked for more than one stroke of the cylinder/wheel/whatever.

The problem was that the ignition was too vigorous to properly prime the cylinder for the next power stroke... heh heh heh.

Once again, you might want to stand back.

Tom

try running it at full throttle and adding straight oxygen to the carb, had small tourch setup and took the oxy off and tried on a modified r/c boat engine, man that sure will turn up the rpms, if that don't work take a few thousands off the head and try that(oxy) with methynol alcohol and NOS
