Default Have politics gotten out of hand?

Fellow modelers,

It is with deep regret that politics have come into the mix here on FG. Is it just me? Sure, I have many political views, but if we can't keep this site on RC, politics will divide us. I guarantee you that half of us believe one thing and the other half believes the opposite.(and I'm not talking about 3W vs DA, C-ARF vs Carden, or JR vs Futaba) Can we exist with this going on? Not really. We will lose the vibe that has made FG what it is! I'm a member of many other RC sites, but this is the only one I still use for the sheer enjoyment of the hobby. I hope you will agree with me. Please refrain from the politics.

Thanks,

Default Re: Have politics gotten out of hand?

Yes, I agree, politics are politics, and this is definetly not the place to discuss them. I closely follow a rule of mine... I dont discuss politics with family or friends... it creates more arguments than anything. That said, FG is not a place to discuss politics, as it will undoubtedly create more problems than anything. We as moderators try to keep an eye out for these type of things and squash them before they get going into a rip roaring argument. As a member, if you see something like this occuring, please PM or pager message a moderator to look into it. We are human and there are alot of threads here on the FG, even we can miss things from time to time. That said, im gonna close this thread. If anyone has any questions as to why I closed it, please PM directly. Politics is just something we strive to avoid here at FG. Thanks for understanding.
