Default What a GREAT IMAA Fly-in today at Windingbrook, CT

Hey everyone that was at the fly-in at Windingbrook, CT today. Man one of the better fly-ins in my book!
Anyway I have a few pictures... I really didn't take many but I am sure there is someone that will add some that took a lot!

A really cool day of flying! Very well organized, Nice people, nice weather/day, plenty of flying whenever you were ready. No large lines. It was awesome. I applaud Jon and Ron Liska for doing a great job to make it run smoothly and made it fun..Along with the President and Vice president John Perez and Jim Cyr and Steve Swahn Safety officer for being one of the best Safety officers around! Everyone of you guys made the event run like a well oiled D.A. 150!

Looks like you guys had a good time. Glad the turnout was good. Im hoping they ditched that flying one at a time BS that is the norm up there at that field and filled in all the landing gear snagging sink-holes!.

Nah, I had to run to PA and back today, so no flying for me. I know a bunch of the IMAC regulars from the Hill went to Salem to practice for next weekends contest in Maine. I am going to fly tommorow, havent decided where yet. Not sure if I want to take the chance and go up to the hill if there is all sorts of residule traffic up there. Any idea on how many of the guys are going back for tommorow?

It looks as though the Windingbrook club has taken their first step towards having one of the premier events in the Northeast . The event was run smoothly by Joan, Ron, Steve and the other club members and you would be hard put to find a better flying venue, wall to wall putting green . I for one am looking forward to their next IMAA event and God willing I will be there .

TANK! It has never been one at a time. If you want to fly alone you can.. But you can go ahead and fly. That is the problem. Everyone wants to fly alone. Well most anyway! But it is the "law" you can fly anytime you want whenever!

Hey I still got the small equalizer you gave me. I cannot use it on anything I have. So I threw it in my toolbox to return to you. Try to come to the hill today if you can! I am going after 12 noon.

You're right, that is the MAJOR problem up there.

Holy crap, I forgot about that! I gotta get you your dough too!! I dont think I will be up at the Hill today. No reason to drive all the way up there when I have a facility thats as good, if not better right up the street.
