| I've Gone Yak! Will I go BACK? ![]() | I am putting a 3w100. Mainly because that is all what I have laying around. Great running engine though. Still prefer DA

| Mother Huckin' ![]() | Definitely go for a 3W 106. Most powerful engine in it's class. Extremely reliable. Awesome service. ![]() Go with standard mufflers and you;ll have as light a setup as any. Except for the ZDZ, but I would stay away from those motors. www.aircraftinternational.com

| I had it, but then I lost it. ![]() | Which ever one you pick between Da and 3w I still think you can't go wrong with either. DA might be the more popular favorite. 3W I think has the more power. DA is lighter.

| I Fly In Circles...... ![]() | Guys, we're not going to have a pi$$ing match on 3W/DA. You have listed 3 very good engines. Honestly what I would suggest is see what other engines people are running around you and go with that. When I got my 150 most of my local friends were running DA so I went with that because of their familiarity with the engines. I figured that if I had any questions/concerns about tuning it they would be able to help out. The engines are all top notch. |

| Bad-ass Super Contributer! ![]() | I agree they are both great engines so get the engine you can get the best deal on. If your going to fly IMAC I would say go with canister exhaust if you have noise regulations in your area. The MTW canisters slide right into the mounts on the GEN III so no need to fabricate mounts.
