NATS...DAY 1 So, we started late today. Ceiling was about 200 feet so, none of us in our right minds would even bother flying. We didn't get started till 10am, but had enough time to get in 2 known rounds and 1 unknown on the Sportsman / Intermediate line. We had one minor mishap. Mike Sotomeier folded his wings on his Staudacher 300 and managed to bring it in kinda softly. Wasn't too bad. Might be fixed for tomorrow, we don't know yet. The flight lines are running really well and we're having a great time. Not sure why I am flying like I just started learning, but it better come back to me fast. Everyone here is flying well. There really are no bad pilots. It's a lot of fun watching these guys. After hours festivities are fun as well, Camp NCFR is rocking and we had the pleasure of listening to Joe Utasi break out his guitar and do a few mad riffs for us. Joe Rocks! Other than that, I'm sure the days will get more intense and more interesting the more we fly. There's a LOT of flying left to do. Probably an unknown and 3 knowns for us tomorrow. Word has it on the street that Ryan Gonsoulin is whoopin up on everyone and is really doing well, and Jason Noll and the rest of the guys on the Unlimited/Advanced line are rockin' as well. Keep it up guys! Lots of fun! Now, if you'll excuse me, I have some scores to cry over and some unknowns to cause me nightmares... Here are some pics...
