IMAC Nats. Friday report.

Well, day two is in the books! We flew the hell out of our airplanes today. We started the day at 8AM SHARP with the 2nd unknown round. Lemme give all you aspiring IMAC prospectives out there a tip...DON'T FLY INTO THE SUN. It will not make your judges happy.

Anyways...We flew until about 4pm and got many rounds in. Intermediate threw 4 known rounds in and an unknown. That's a ton of flying. I swear I've been hearing "1st manuever...Loop w/ 2 point roll followed by your teardrop..." along with the sound of DA-100's and 150's screaming around the sky. Everyone is flying really well and we're all stepping it up to make the cut tomorrow night. We're having a banquet at the Horizon Center in Muncie, where we will have a nice dinner and they will announce the finalists for each class. That will be a nail biter for a couple of the classes because the points are pretty tight. I'm sorry I didn't get a whole lot of scoops on anything...I was busy constantly flying and making sure I wasn't on deck in the flight order.

As Mike mentioned, results tomorrow will come in later than usual as the pilots will not see them until the dinner banquet in Muncie. Shortly thereafter we'll have 'em up!
