Default F-22 Raptor Video

Nice video of Raptor F-22.
Not quite sure how much good 3-D flying is when we shoot down everything with over the horizon missiles, but it great entertainment!!!!

That has got to rival sex. I would cut off body parts to be able to fly that thing, but then I wouldn't be able to fly it... Oh well.

I watched a few fly last year at Hill AFB. There were 4 flying in front of the crowd and a 5th behind the crowd doing all the thrust vectoring manuvers. The guy flying behind the crowd was really cool to watch.

I think its about time they did something like that to show up those Sukhoi's. You can tell how the electronics and computers aid the control surfaces because everything is soo smooth.

A close friend of mine was part of the development team at Pratt&Witney that did the 119 engine for that airplane. I remember when he first started there, he was not at liberty to talk about his work.... then when the contract was awarded he finally got to tell me about running the test engines down in the Florida swamps... This was before they relocated to Hartford (and he left Pratt)....

Wow! That is the most impressive demonstration of post stall maneoverability I have ever seen in a full size fighter! Awesome.

I especially like seeing the tailerons move independantly during maneovers.

The tailslide was great as well as the waterfall into controlled flat spin. Unreal.

He could probably take off into a Snap-A-Saurus, they need to incorporate that into the routine.

I can guarantee you that the video or any of their performances do not show the 100% maneuver capability that it truely has. A secret is not a secret if you let everyone in on it lol. If you guys have not seen the russian thrust vectoring technology, that is something just as if not more impressive.
