Holy Huckfesting Batman! Just when we thought we were recovering from the epic St. Louis Huckfest. The Flying Giants and YNOT productions decided to throw another spoon in the blender!!! The stars at night are big and bright…deep in the huck of Texas so ya'll better come and check them out November 10-11th in Houston, Texas. Hard core 3D action in an atmosphere never experienced before at one of the country's premier facilities, brought to you by YNOT productions and the Flying Giants. Pairing these two up is bound to create one hell of a time that you won't want to miss! The Houston Huckfest will bring all size planes into one venue and for the first time ever, we are gonna huck 40’s to foamys together. To make this an event like no other, there will be music jamming throughout the day, BRING YOUR IPOD, awesome food from the Bomber Field Crew and Night Flying. Don’t bother with adding weight with lights to your bird, we are going light up the sky with construction lights and yea, 40’s under the lights is… to quote Snap, “BADASSSSS!!!” Just to step it up just a bit, there will be 3D contest that everyone will participate in. It is only limited to your thumbs, not your airplane. Weather you are flying a profile, a foamy, a 3D plane or a SA bird of ANY size, you are in the contest. At some point in time, the top huckers will be asked to enter the HuckOff. The HuckOff is when ALL pilots enter the air and have 10 minutes to get away with as much 3D as you can as the DJ spins a variety of tunes to set different tempos. No solo flights! The audience will determine the winner. The winner will win some disappointing prize however have the distinction of the first ever HuckOff Champion, an award that will be coveted by many, but possessed by only one! The facility, WOW. Bomber Field USA, home of the legendary Gathering of the B-17’s, every September. http://www.bomberfieldusa.com/ I spoke with the owner of Bomber Field, BB Weber, and he said he would make the field available to us, as long as we run the show. All money collected from pilot entry and raffle will go to the club. Some of you may know of BB. He is the guy who built the 22 foot Russian Bear. Very cool. The field has plenty of covered pit area and 200+ yards of additional pit space all protected by a safety fence. There is power under the pit area for chargers and plenty of parking. RV’s and trailers are welcome, however there are no hook ups, bring the gennies. No RV, so what, pitch a tent, the weather in early November is awesome in this part of Texas so don't be afraid to sleep under those glistening Texas stars! They say "everything is bigger in Texas" and the Texas Huckfest is sure to be huge! Great facility, blastin music, comraderie and kickass flying are whats in store. If you are anywhere in the vicinity and you have anything from a foamy to a 50%, you better get off the couch, drop the potato chips, pack the trailer and come experience the hospitality Texas has to offer and Huck your ass off at the Houston Huckfest 2007!!!

November in Texas. Good choice! It ought to ge cooled down a tad' by then, and not so sultry. It might also give some of the northern boys a reason to come down and get a few flights. I guess they will be in the middle of there winter ![]() Max you going to make this one? |

Houston Huckfest! What a deal! We finally get to meet a bunch of the Flying Giant folks. Ya'll are coming to Texas so we'll keep you posted on how to speak and act down here. Since there is a float pond out back of Bomber, I suppose we oughta take Max and the gang snipe huntin' (maybe like the first night ) to get the night time festivities going really good! You fellas were talking about something called "ass burgers?" Down here they are more like "Acre Burgers." We also do some really great Texmex. Old Ynot doesn't do much in the way of slow and easy so get ready for some fun! Wango Tango (Dad) Fandango (Son) ![]() PS: We live just north of Houston about 50 miles and that only puts us about 60 miles from Bomber....... This means we are only minutes from the field when you consider TEXAS sized distances! |
