| I Fly In Circles...... ![]() | I loved my PBF (Pizza Box Flyer)......just got tired of buyin props.......there was a master airscrew that I bought a couple of...they seemed to flex enough as to not break.....at least not everytime...... |

| Flyin' Around ![]() | are li-pollies safe? ihave them in my extra 260 but electric fliers in the club say i should take them out to charge. very difficult. this is a comp-arf 260, and i have them mounted as per instructions. is general practice to take them out to charge?- paul byrum. |

| IMAC wannabe! ![]() | Hi Paul, you havnt really asked this question in the right part of the site but never mind. We will hijack the thread momentarily. Personally I wouldnt use Lipoly's in a Giant scale aircraft as the RX power source. I Do however use Li-ions. Li-ions are much more robust than Lipo's. Li-ions arent used in electric flight as they are not able to deliver the current that lipos can, but for powering our 35 -44% radio systems they are perfect!! If I could get my Li-ions out of the model I would charge them outside the model, however they are difficult to get too so I charge them inside the model. As for lipos being charged in the model......... I wouldnt go there! |
