Default Hitec RULES!

A few weeks ago I sent in some servos to get repaired. 2-5955's which I fried (literally), and a 5925 and a 5945 which were just plain wore out (2 years of abuse). So after a week I check in with them and they say the 5955's are on back order. So I wait another couple of weeks and on my doorstep today is a box from HiTec. all brand new servos at no charge. Again I wore these servos out and didn't expect service like this. Once again they have gone above and beyond.
Thanks Hitec!

That is Hitec, Same with me I expected to be charged, but all come in at no charge.
But JR did same thing for me, I send in my 10 S transmiter to have the lithium (memory) battery replaced and send them my credit card number. Not only that Horizon did not charge me for replacing the battery, but the did not charge me for the battery.

What a blessing to modeling, programable servos that are as strong as the man of steel.

I sent Hitec a pair of 322's that just plain didn't work, and they sent 3 back. No charge, except for the hat and shirt that I just absolutely needed. Sent them a dead digi on monday, and got it fixed by friday.

Sent 3 servos to Footerber with CC number, phone number, email, address, and got nothing back. I called about 5 times, about every week or so, and nothing. They received the box according to FedEx. Found what was wrong with one servo, but nothing back.

That being said, I stooped and bought a few 3114's from the LHS to install on a plane because I was to impatient to wait for hitecs.

So how did you fry these servos? The reason I ask is because I just found one of my rudder servos fried and locked up. I had put the plane together for some engine and smoke system tuning and when I went to roll it inside the rudder was frozen. Worked fine the last time I flew it. As soon as I took the hatch off I could smell the servo burning, it melted the bottom of the case. Guess I'll get to try out Hitec's service, too bad it will cost me the weekend of flying.
