Wink Hello From Brisbane Australia!

Hi Everyone

New to this web site and forum.
My son and I are about to jump into gas powered planes with a new 25% Extra powered by a SPE40 gas engine. We hop eto get some tips and help on gas planes as we are newbies in this area and it a bit scarey jumping into something we no nothing about.
Having said that we have 5 glow planes of which 2 are 4 strokes and the others are 2 stroke. These include a warbird (P51) 2 x pattern ships and aerobats.

In the coming months we hope to buy a larger plane again but we want walk before we run

Cheers
Roy & Zac

Hi Roy,

It was great to meet you at the field today. Young Zac was flying the pattern ship very nicely and I'm sure he won't have any problems flying the 25%. Just print out a copy of the Basic and Sportsman sequences from the ASAA web site and off ya go

Cheers
Jeremy

Hey Jeremy

Mate great to meet you too! Thanks for the kind note. Yeah we hope the Extra wont be too much of a handful.
We have a Sukhoi SU-31 and if ya not careful it will bite ya hard even on low rates! (well for me anyway) but from what I have been told about this bird its a very nicely behaved aircraft.

We both love that Excelleron, its such a joy to fly.
Chris G has talked me into ripping out the FS70II and putting in a FS91 pumped engine (which we have in another pattern ship) which will make it even better!

We both loved your Extra (drool drool)

We are so looking forward to our new plane but will take our time and do right (with some help from Chris)

Can you send me a link to the ASAA and what we should be looking at?

Look forward to seeing you at the field again!

Cheers
Roy & Zac
