We fly at 4 different indoor venues...2 of them are relaxed with normally no more than 2 planes in the air at the same time and we have no glitches. Whilst the other 2 places are mental - just a free for all go up when you want, we have glitches at both these places which are different groups of flyers. We have watched the frequencies on a monitor and everyone was accounted for and nobody was adjacent to us. Others do have glitches but we seem to get a lot more so far we have tried:
Any Ideas? Thanks Shaun and Ollie |

We use the Micro Z-72 antenna from www.liteflyrc.com We have used it in the ETOC, JR Indoor Festival, E-fest with killer results. We have had as many as 25 in the air at once, no glitches! Speaking from 6 yrs. indoor experience! Kitman

You should try one of the new Berg 4L receivers from Castle Creations. It first uses transmitter signal recognition (TSR) to lock on to your transmitter. It senses the specific signature of your particular transmitter so that if someone turns on on your channel, it will lock that transmitter out and only reckognize yours. The only possibly way to interfere channel wise is if the person has the exact same transmitter(make, model, version) with the same frequency and is standing closer to the plane than you. It also uses True Digital Signal Processing (TDSP) which is a microprocesser that filters the incoming signal before it is passed to the servos, and throws out the invalid signals (Glitches) and passes the valid signals to your servos. IMHO I like this receiver more than the even the Spektrum receiver. It performs PHENOMINALLY and it grauantees you to have ZERO interference problems while flying. I've tested it MANY places including the E-fest without issue.

Thanks for your replies We are on 35MHz in the UK and cant find anywhere that do the aerials, also we have been looking at the Jeti max 4 mpd and think these are similar The other people are flying with the same indoor receivers with no trouble, so we are still looking at our transmitter being weaker or something?? Just out of interest is there any way of checking your signal strength, or testing your transmitter aerial...the symptoms are as if the aerial is half extended Thanks again Shaun and Ollie Last edited by 8iggles; 02-24-2006 at 07:06 PM. |
