Default Indoor IMAC? in North Central Region

Anyone in the North Central region interested in doing a F3P indoor IMAC this winter? Flying any foamy you want, and making a sequence and then going on the IMAC Judging techniques. I thought it would be cool.

Any thoughts? Anyone sound interested?

Jamie

Bredan I think he is talking about an actual IMAC contest, but indoors. There would be several throughout the winter in various areas across the NCFR. It would be similar sequences to IMAC that could be flown indoors, and also judged the same.

Am I right Jamie?

I would be interested!

Seth

It is called F3P... it is indoor pattern contests.... it is getting quite popular in Europe and there were a few here in the States...none in the NC region though.....

Seth you are right. i just got off the phone with jamie and he is out for lunch. that is what he was talking about doing. i know what it is, i just didnt think it went on here in the states. sounds like fun, and would keep us flying during the winter so we dont loose our touch for the strait line stuff. the only thing is, i dont know that dads wallet is ok with it.

Love the idea.
Its been discussed before.

The hard part has always been finding places to do the contest and people finding places to practice.

if you dont mind the cold i got a friend who drives the zamboni at the local ice rink, i think he could figure out a good time for a contest. He lets me fly there now and there is enough room just that the ceiling is only about 35 - 40 ft
