Has anyone flown one of these? How are they? I'm interested in the combo kit with the brushless motor and controller. Oh yea this isn't the foamy A-frame, its the built up profile from balsa. Lazer cut. thanx

For $139 it ain't bad, but the fuse is crooked as a snake and flimsy and flexy and the rest of the build quality is not typical QQ standards. I was so turned off by the quality that I haven't even flown it yet. But it is supposed to be a good flyer so I am putting my Rx in it this weekend and giving it a try.

Tony - I just got a chance to inspect everything. I had to cut the covering loose from the rudder to get the massive warp to let go. I must have fooled with it for about 2 hours. I then took clear tape and straightened it out. The rest of the model looks OK. I havent looked real close at the ailerons yet but Don says his were massively warped - he couldnt get those to straighten either. From the looks of things the covering quality could be better. But one can't complain too much since it does come with a brushless motor and controller plus a gear box also. Puttin the wing in tonight. Although one thing - the 2 hour assembly time is totally bogus!!!! Ronster |

Agreed. and the motor is easily transferable to another plane. It also seems to have plenty of pull, too. I will get mine flying soon and give a flight report...
