I'm not sure what club(s) I will join yet. I got the "bug" back again while helping Jim McDaniel at DC-RC's County Appreciation Day a few weeks ago. Jim and his family have become friends of mine recently kind of accidentally. I ride horses with his wife and daughter. Anyway, I really like the nice field and know several people there, but it's a little bit of a drive for me. I will likely join a few clubs . I need to go visit the Frederick club's field. What/where is Pegasus that you talk about Jim? Thanks for the welcome back guys!

It is located in Hagerstown and is not a long drive (imo). I am sure you have seen the page fro Frederick, but just in case..... http://www.frederickmodelaircraftclub.org/

I do not know what you are flying right now. Your profile says you have an interest in IMAC so you may have some larger birds. The local Frederick field has a limited area and we are trying to keep the noise print low. I fly my 50cc bird there and can easily manage the runway. I have to watch the overfly area to some extent but do not find it uncomfortable in any way. Pegasus on the other hand is huge. There is a fun fly at Pegasus this weekend (Saturday) that would be a great opportunity to meet the folks there. There is a pavilion, kids play area and facilities on site. I will send you a PM with contact information for me if you can make it up.

Jim.. thanks for the info. To answer your question, the plane I'm building to get back into things is an Extreme Flight 74" Yak with a Brillelli 46cc gasser in it. Other than that, it's just foamies. I would love the info on the fun fly in Hagerstown, I'm not 100% sure yet what I will be getting into, but I would like to try and get up there to watch. I can't fly anything at all right now because I sold my transmitters to get the new JR 9303 with the 2.4ghz system in it which was supposed to be shipped last month and is now predicted to get here early August... fun fun fun. My thumbs are starting to go into withdrawl.
