Default Lets Fight on the Net

Is it me or does it seem like it does not take long about the 3rd page or so before a forums turns into mudd slinging and such?

I agree 100% Seems to have to do more with engine selections than anything else.

I think you're all full of crap and don't know what you're talking about.

In other words, I agree and that's the main reason I abandoned that other site that used to deal with RC stuff. It was ludicrous.

It certainly can turn into that kind of thing, expecially when someone asks things like,

Which radio brand?

Which 50cc plane?

Which servo is better?

Which engine for my new IMAC bird?

We all know all of these types of threads have the ability to turn into a product bashing session. While these threads have a place, they can be very informative, bottom line is they turn into basically an opinion list.

It's up to all of us as a community to make sure this product bashing or people bashing doesn't happen. If it starts, and you guys can't diffuse it right away, let the staff know, we'll get on it as fast as we possibly can.

Quite often we catch it before it get's too far, but we just can't be everywhere.

What do you guys say, will you help us out and keep us informed?

Thanks a ton guys, this place would be nothing without our membership. All of this hard work is for you guys to have a place to come to and have some fun, without the drama. Please help us keep it that way

What planet do you live on? I've never seen mudd slinging on the net. Look at the facts. There has never, since Al Gore invented the internet, been any mud slinging! Besides, If there would ever happen to be any, I'm right and you're wrong. Any questions?

Or even better when someone asks about a particular engine and gets the answer of, "If you really want -power-reliability-service-fill in the blank you should get a fill in the blank." I really don't have a problem with people making suggestions when they ask for an engine but it drives me nuts when someone asks always plugs their engine, radio, servos, oil, etc whn no one is asking for suggestions.

Off of soapbox,

Dan
