| Flyin' Around ![]() | Just getting into the bigger stuff and curious if anyone thinks the new 75CC Extra 260 from aeroworks is worth the money over the 30%. Is it really going to be that much better of an aircraft for the difference in money? Thanks |

| Mother Huckin' ![]() | Kingair, i have the 100cc and it's awesome. The 75cc shouldn't be too far off. Bigger flies better. If you can afford the extra money, get the 75cc. I assure you it will be a better flyer. Although the 50cc is pretty good too. They are all WELL WORTH the money.

| It will fly!!! | Guys. Stick to the original question. The question asked is the 75cc worth the extra cash over the price of the 50cc version.

| KEITH RUSH ![]() | I would definitly go with the 75cc if you can swing it. I got to see the 50 and 75cc side by side at the AMA show, and the 75cc is a big difference in size I thought. Much more plane for the money. I got to meet Rocco and talked to him for a couple of hours about his planes. I recently just purchased the 100CC in the ARC form and I can say it is a very well built plane. No complaints. Oh, and all the incidences were a perfact 0. About there service. No complaints either. Actually their service was awsome for me. When I purchased the plane, they told me there was a slight deformity in the hatch where too much heat had been applied in one area, so they sent me a upgraded carbon fiber tail wheel assembly for the imperfection. When I recieved the plane and did the inspection, the cowl had 3 cracks around the front where most likely something heavy was sat on it in the UPS truck. I called them the next day and emailed them pics of it. They said they could get me another cowl, but it would be a little time, because they would have to get it from China, but they did offer to send me one from their ARF kits. I told them no, because I didn't want to strip paint from a good cowl, and I would just fix the one I had. Really easy fix anyway, but because they didn't have another one to send me, they sent me a stick plane and also a instrament panel for it. To me, that is good customer service. They didn't have to do anything, but they did, and I really appreciated it. I say go with what you want, because there are always going to be good and bad experieces with any company you choose. | Bad-ass Super Contributer! ![]() | None of us have actually flown the new Extra yet because it is not shipping. I saw the plane at the AMA show and it is one of the prettiest Extras I have seen. It should be amazing with the DA-85. AW doesn't make a bad flying plane, so go with the bigger plane if you can swing it! |

| Flyin' Around ![]() | Thanks a lot for the advice. I will try and swing for the 75cc with the da85. From what I have read Aeroworks is a great plane and company and you all seem to affirm that. I am curious if a one servo wing is bad on an aircraft that size. Noticed the Yak has a two servo wing. I am sure I will be back with many more questions. |

| Mother Huckin' ![]() | If the 75cc is just like mine (100cc) then the ailerons are not sheeted. I would go with 2 servos per wing. 2 5955's. If the aileron was fully sheeted, then maybe one would be enough. Go with 2. no reason to skimp on servos.

| Mother Huckin' ![]() | Nice. That's fine then. I thought the 75cc wings had two servo slots. If there's one but it's in the middle of the aileron then that's fine. The bad idea is to just have one where you have two slots.
