| Flyin' Around ![]() | Hello to all, I am newbie to this site, and I have been flying around for about 10 years now, lately I have into profiles with my lastest a Mojo65 with a Saito150 which I really enjoy flying except for the gallon of glow fuel it gulps everytime I go out. So I am looking at a gasser. As I read most do not recommend a gas engine on anything below 80" wing span, so I am looking at the following planes: BME Edge 540 BME Extra 300 WildHare Edge 540 WildHare Extra 300 AeroWorks Extra 260 So which one is recommended for a 50cc gas engine? I would like to have a plane that is good quality and easy to handle. Or any other recommendations. Thanks in Advance NB |

| Bad-ass Super Contributer! ![]() | The Plane will depend on your flying style. If you are a pure 3D type flyer i reccomend the edge of any of those makes. if you want a balance of precision and 3d go with the 260 of any of those makes. I would stay away from the 300's unless you want precision they tend to not want to 3D as well as the other designs. my .02 good luck |

| Uber Contributer ![]() | I take it you are looking for a 50cc setup. have you looked at the great planes patty wagstaff. I have one with a BME 50 in it and on middle rates it flys like a dream. That is a 78" wingspan. plane. I also have a Carl goldberg edge thats a 77" wingspan with a da50 on it. That flew real nice. Have to up grade the hardware before I 3d it anymore. My dad had carl goldbergs 77" yak with a da 50 and that flew nice also. You can put gassers in smaller planes its just not done that much. my edge flys light though. Just though you might wnat to look into them, Oh the hanger 9 showtime 90 on a spe 26 is said to be out of this world.

| Flyin' Around ![]() | Thanks for all your inputs, I have decided to go with Wild Hare Edge 540T ![]() I am also considering picking up the 3MM TOC-53 at the same time, seems like good price & quality. Any comments on it or the combo? Also is the hardware kit from Wild Hare worth it? Does anyone know what is all in it? I can't wait to get into gassers. Thanks Again NB |

| I had it, but then I lost it. ![]() | I have the 53 on my Sukhoi from Wild Hare and it pulls with authority. Great engine. I run it on Lawnboy Ashless. Get the combo you'll save a little bit of money. But you can't go wrong with Wild Hare. Great for Newbie gassers to seasoned pro's and Vets.
