Default My new H9 Ultimate

Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I finally pushed the button. Adrian dude , I pick it up monday(Sept17). I opted to go for a spanken new airframe rather than somebody elses set up. I figure with all the latest technology out there , I will have a lighter more superior plane anyway. Although I will have to wait to fly it as I will need to gather all the bits.

I was really close to pick up one That Duralite was selling. Quiqe flew it this year at our airshow. I did however decide to go brand new. I will peice it together slowly and have a really tight rig once I am done. I will be busy flying my edge in the meantime anyways.

You decide what guts your going with ? I am thinking maybe a 3W 157 with full pipes. One 5955 per aileron. Keep it clean and simple. Should be nice

Go with a bigger motor...

I'm just glad that you no longer have to take my 260 out of the rafters and put it together lol. You'll have this monster to keep you busy.

Guys... I have been hearing about this plane since 2004 so I am really happy that he will get to enjoy his dream ride.

I'm going with a DA150 & MTW 110 cans. I was going to go with pipes, but the way the bottom wing mounts... i think it will be a PIA.

I'm going with 8711's all around one per aileron. I agree keep it simple (KISS Principal). I'm probably going to move the aileron mount to the center of the aileron and add some carbon stips to stiffen things up.

I may recover and repaint as well.

Hey I am always up for another hangar queen. I may have to get a hangar queen as a build project too... perhaps a 35% EF Yak.

Funny thing is we both know with our winter the most stick time we'll get is on my esky lama!
