Hi I've been flying since 1986 and have finally decided to join the big crowd so to speak. I've just purchased the 35% aerotech extra and I'm planning on the DA-100 to power it. I' haven't done any gas stuff in the past so I'm sure I'll have alot of questions for everyone. Mostly engine and radio stuff, I've built many aircraft so I don't see any issues there but the other stuff is new to me. Anyway happy to be aboard![]() Jim Norton |

Ward I fly with JRCC "jackson radio control club". We've been putting on a pretty good IMAC contest for the last few years and I've got the itch to try it out. I had the intent of doing it this year with a goldberg SU-26 but my work schedule wouldn't have alowed me to so I didn't practice any and about three weeks before the event that changed. So instead of competing I got out my cameras and took lots of photo's and video and made a dvd of the event. With any luck I'll have my 35%'er ready for next season. however, with that said I've been putting in alot of overtime at work but it's allowed me to buy these wonderful toy's. Jim |

Hey Jim, Glad to have you here!! I did some work in that part of MI a couple of years ago, actually Brooklyn. I wish I had known there was a field close to there, of course work would have cut into my flying time. Welcome to the Giants!!!

Ward I'm not sure if they have decided on a date for next year or not. I haven't been able to attend the last few meetings do to my new work schedule which is "all the time". Hopefully I'll have my new plane built and ready if I can ever get it. aero-tec said they would be cutting this month some time so I hope it's soon. Then comes that masterpiece of a powerplant. Yes to all those wondering, this is my first. Mike and gang finally convinced me to jump in with both feet. Anyway thanks for the great welcome to the site. Jim |

Ward That plane looks really familiar. Did you compete at our IMAC contest. It sure seems like I have some photo's of that plane. If so, I made a DVD of the event and most likely your aircraft is in it. If you want one PM me your address and I'll send you one. |
